Full testing has been conducted on these spacers including intake manifold temps and dynos. Each rigorous test session took place over one hour and includes racing the car during 8 dyno runs and allowing the car to sit at idle for 30 minutes to build up as much upper intake manifold heat soak as possible.

Using over 300 temperature readings from various points, the test results show an average upper intake manifold temperature decrease of 40 degrees at idle and up to 60 degrees while cruising.

8 dyno runs before and 8 dyno runs after were conducted with a system called Home Dyno. Home Dyno is a computer software dyno system that takes the spark plug pulses using an inductive pickup and puts them into a laptop. Once this data is recorded, it uses the car's parameters to calculate acceleration, therefore calculating horsepower! This system is more accurate than a chassis dyno because you are actually accelerating on the road including crucial variables that pertain to heat soak in order to get more accurate results than using a chassis dynojet or dynapack dynamometer.

Please note that ALL dynos were done with the same weather conditions, same test surface, same test routine, and same vehicle parameters. Every effort was made to ensure the most accurate dyno results. Both sets of dyno runs were done on a fully hot motor after more than a half hour of racing and idling.

We used every rpm point for each of the dyno runs, averaged them out and plotted the point. After doing this for all 51 rpm points on all 16 dyno runs, this dyno chart was created to show true average power increases. Not just the peak power gains like other shops show!

Note: The intake spacer kit for the 92-94 Maxima SE will not allow you to install your EGR system due to the 1/4" rise in the upper intake manifold. So you must use the EGR Block Plate that is included.
